Our school was opened in Muğla with the protocol signed between the Ministry of Health and the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education on September 10, 1992, and gained a legal personality upon the appointment of the Director of the School on 14/12/1992. In our college, which started education with the Nursing Program on January 18, 1993, the Opticianry Program was opened since the academic year of 1994-1995. As a result of the opening of health schools in line with the decisions of the Health Council, no students were admitted to the Nursing Program in the 1997-1998 academic year, and the Program was terminated by giving the last graduate in the 1998-1999 academic year.
In 2005, the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program, the Medical Documentation and Secretariat and the Medical Promotion and Marketing Programs were opened in the 2001-2002 academic year, in addition to the Opticianry Program, which was moved to the campus in the Marmaris district in the center of Muğla in 2005. In the 2013-2014 academic year, the second courses of Medical Laboratory Techniques, Medical Documentation and Secretariat, Medical Promotion and Marketing Programs were opened and they started their educational activities. The second education of the Medical Promotion and Marketing Program from these programs was closed with the Senate's decision as of the 2016-2017 academic year, and student admissions were terminated.
With the decision to recruit students for the Aged Care Program since the academic year 2019-2020, our school still continues its education activities in our district of Marmaris, with 5 programs as normal education and 2 programs as secondary education.
